About
This elegant Teal High Lacquer 2 door sideboard is derived from Tiao An (Narrow Table) – an ancient Chinese piece of furniture that is usually placed at the far end of the hall behind the tables and chairs. Since the Ming dynasty, this type of table is used to place decorative porcelain, antiques, and ornaments on the top, and they are normally styled with a narrow top with curled up edges on both ends, and the width is about one-tenth of the length. Tiao An was initially designed to represent the respect and dignity of the households and gradually evolved into an adorable ornamental display piece of furniture for the most wealthy families. Today this piece can be used as an ornaments/table lamps display sideboard or a TV set.
