The handmade fine art reproduction of a vase from The Xuande reign (1426 -1435) of Ming Dynasty by Jingdezhen kiln.

The 28cm high bottle form vase, with an underglaze blue six-character the Xuande period (1426-1435) mark to the base, is finely painted with a striking design of a five-clawed dragon among stylised clouds.

Jingdezhen Imperial kiln factory of the Ming Dynasty Xuande period (AD 1426-1455) has a very important position in Chinese blue and white porcelain history. It is famous for its quaint and elegant style, beautiful crystal glaze and decoration, also it is well known for its firing technology which has reached its peak in making blue and white porcelain. The blue and white porcelain made in this period has become one of the most famous porcelain of China, whose accomplishments have been hailed as “an unprecedented surprise to generations.” According to Jingdezhen Tao Lu Pottery Record Book for evaluation of Xuande porcelain: “All porcelains are fine, the most precious is blue and white.”
