This stunning Red High Lacquer Chinese Cabinet was acquired from Beijing China and is one of the best examples of Chinese restoration I have seen. It has been minimally restored and retains all its original features including the hooked cross hardware which are Buddhist symbols of divinity and spirituality. This cabinet typically conveys the period furniture characteristics of Peking from the late Qing dynasty to the Republic of China: nobility, rich and power.
