About
This original over 100-year-old piece was acquired from Xi’an, Shanxi Province. It has been restored in Beijing. It has been relacquered in a high gloss finish. The appearance of the piece has a solemn authorising look. Structurally the cabinet emphasizes the frames, all frames are overall complicatedly mounded especially the short legs which are carved in horseshoe shapes. The front of the doors and drawer contractually is finished with plain surfaces. What a unique piece this cabinet is! Today it is perfectly used as a drink cabinet.
