About
The classic Chinese red gold detailed painted/drawn cabinet has been restored and re-lacquered. The painting was drawn with real gold pigment. This piece was originally made for a newlywed couple. The partners on the piece were very unique, which constituted Eight Treasures of Buddhism in eight circles. The tangled ivy brunches are dancing around these 8 circles. There are also three kinds of auspicious birds in three circles on the bottom panel.
The overall design of the painting on the piece is the praise and yearning for a good life and good morals. This piece today is perfect for a drink cabinet or display unit.
