About
An old charming Chinese Medicine cabinet was acquired from Shandong province. It was originally made in the late Qing dynasty and has been used to store herbs and various medicines for almost a century. The cabinet has been restored and relacquered. This medicine cabinet consists of 15 drawers. There is a carved eternity pattern panel under the drawers. The bottom of the piece was carved with ivy leaves in all directions. The ivy leaves represent prosperity. We can imagine this beautiful medicine cabinet was originally made for a prestigious family with motif of continuous family prosperity. The piece as such is not supposed to be used for storage practicality in the modern days it is rather an art piece for decoration purposes. This beautiful medicine cabinet is certainly a focal point in any room.
