About
The sideboard was originally used as a rice storage trunk by a big family in the West of China. After restoration, it was converted as a 2 door Cabinet but still retains an original feature that allows you to open the 2 lids from the top of the trunk. The floral paintings on the door are peonies which was the national flower in the Qing Dynasties. The furniture has been re-lacquered to its old days’ glory. This piece has inherited both Chinese culture and Chinese carpentry.
