About
This original antique two-drawer cabinet has been expertly restored, reviving its timeless beauty and craftsmanship. The piece retains its authentic form and elegant patina, showcasing the charm of traditional Chinese joinery and design.
Each side of the cabinet features two finely carved panels, while the lower apron is exquisitely decorated with a pair of dragons playing with a pearl—a motif known as Shuanglongxizhu (双龙戏珠). This classic symbol represents prosperity, power, and harmony, and has long been considered one of China’s most auspicious patterns.
With its graceful proportions, warm weathered finish, and intricate detailing, this cabinet stands as both a functional piece of furniture and a work of art, bringing history and culture into any interior setting.
