About
This original over 200-year-old piece was acquired from Xi’an, Shanxi Province. It has been restored in Beijing. Our restorer has tried to retain its originality as much as possible even kept the damaged original gorgeous handles intact. The paintings on the doors depicted hundreds of years ago typical Chinese rural homes in a romantic manner. Some of the Good-luck patterns on the edger of the Cabinet are still visible. The daisies painting on the frame represent hope and flourish. It can be imaged that the piece was originally made for a wealthy landlord who lived in the West of China.
