About

A stunning tribute to the most free spirited of animals. A series of original cire Perdue (precision lost wax casting) brass work by their creator Ou Cai. Each sculpture represents a famous Emperor War Horse of the Qin and Tang Dynasty.

From the Artist: “The impression of horses to most people, is that they are unrestrained and wild, but from the aesthetic point of view of contemporary art, I wanted to sculpt a different kind of horse, with simple lines and freehand expression, to interpret the horse as elegant and stable minded”.

Ou Cai has won numerous awards for his Tang Dynasty War Horse work and has exhibited all around the world.

A High Temperature Fired Lacquer finish gives each sculpture a powerful yet timeless quality.
